The Moon

Ahh the moonnn my friend. I made this card to visually reference the moon phases that are present on the backs of the cards.
Present on top are a full moon- looking full and ripe, foreshadowing the sun in the next card, and the waning moon, reminding us to reflect on our lives- and that now is a time to explore within.
On this bottom half, I created a stylized moon-reflection, to 1. reference back to the water element present in the Smith-Rider-Waite deck and 2. to play on the elusiveness of the moon. A reflection is both something and nothing at the same time. Water is also referring to the universal pool of knowledge accessed.
